Vertical Platform Lifts
Vertical Platform Lifts are designed to provide access into or within public buildings, but they can be used in residential applications as well. They are more cost-effective than an elevator and do not require a large and deep pit or a separate machine room to house the mechanical and electrical components.
With a 750lb capacity, they can transport a passenger in a wheelchair and an attendant. Vertical platform lifts provide a code compliant access solution and is suitable for indoor or outdoor use.
Unenclosed lifts such as the Genesis Opal can travel up to 5 feet. An enclosure model or shaftway model can travel up to 12 feet in California.

The system of this vertical platform lift consists of a drive mast, passenger platform, doors and gates.
